The update aims to improve search results and make them more helpful to users, as Google will evaluate search rankings, in general, to keep pace with changes.
Danny Sullivan wrote on Google's Public Liaison for Search that the pages that will be ranked lower in the search engine after classification are not punished. At all and did not break Google's policies or face problems with the guidelines of the google search console, but all they have to do is improve the content and provide what fulfills the users' search needs.
“Core updates are changes we make to improve Search overall and keep pace with the changing nature of the web. While nothing in a core update is specific to any particular site, these updates may produce some noticeable changes to how sites perform…”

- Effects on sites in search results rankings that may go up or down are expected.
- Updates are always aimed at improving Google's systems in general and do not target anything specific.
- Pages that rank lower in Google search results are not penalized, but only a re-evaluation of the content leads to the rise of other content in its place.
- To avoid the negative impact of updates, Google recommends only one thing to focus on providing high-quality content that benefits users.
- Google releases search algorithm updates every few months, and some sites may be negatively affected and do not recover until a new update is released.
